Quantum Capital Group Acquires Assets from Caerus Oil and Gas for $1.8 Billion

Vinson & Elkins advised Quantum Capital Partners and two of its portfolio companies – KODA Resources and QB Energy – in the acquisition of $1.8 billion of oil and gas assets from Caerus Oil and Gas.

The transactions involve KODA acquiring all of Caerus’s natural gas assets in the Uinta basin and QB Energy acquiring all of Caerus’s assets in the Piceance basin. The transaction closed August 19, 2024.
