Danielle’s practice focuses exclusively in the energy and infrastructure industries, but across a broad spectrum of sectors, including the upstream and midstream oil and gas and renewable power sectors. In particular, she represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures and project development transactions. Danielle has advised all players in the energy industry, including strategic companies, institutional investors, private equity funds and other financial institutions.
In 2021, Danielle was selected by Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner in Energy – Renewable/Alternative Power and Energy – Transactions – Oil and Gas. Danielle is recognized as an “Up and Coming Lawyer” by Chambers USA in Energy: Oil & Gas – Transactional, 2021 and was also selected to the “Texas Rising Stars List: Super Lawyers” by Thomson Reuters in 2019 and 2020.

Buckeye Partners and Nala Renewables in their acquisition of a majority interest in Swift Current Energy, a leading North American clean energy development and investment platform with a pipeline of over 6 GW of solar, wind and energy storage projects
Takkion Holdings, a portfolio company of funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, in connection with its acquisition of Renew Energy, a leading provider of operations and maintenance solutions serving the renewable energy market
Apollo Global Management in the formation of a joint venture with Altius Minerals Corporation’s subsidiary, Altius Renewable Royalties (“Altius”), to accelerate the growth of Great Bay Renewables, the US-based operating subsidiary of Altius and a leading provider of renewable energy development capital in North America
The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG) and its Renewable and Sustainable Energy Fund, through its affiliate Acadia Renewable Energy, in the acquisition of a portfolio of eight solar projects in Maine from BNRG representing over $130 million of capital investment
Antero Resources Corporation in the $220 million sale of a volumetric production payment, covering dry gas producing properties in West Virginia, to an affiliate of J.P. Morgan
Momentum Midstream in the sale of a gathering system and gathering pipeline in the Haynesville shale of Louisiana owned by Momentum and Indigo Natural Resources to DTE Midstream for $2.25 billion in cash, plus a $400 million milestone payment upon completion of the gathering pipeline

Flywheel Energy Operating, a portfolio company of funds managed by Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, in its $1.86 billion acquisition of all Fayetteville Shale and ARKOMA upstream and midstream assets of Southwestern Energy Company via the acquisition of 100% of the issued and outstanding securities in SWN Production (Arkansas), LLC and DeSoto Gathering Company, LLC
