We help our clients form joint ventures, and acquire, finance, develop, manage, lease, restructure, and sell all types of commercial properties, including retail, office, hotels, industrial, multifamily, mixed-use, brownfields properties, and vacant land. Our lawyers are particularly adept at resolving multi-jurisdictional complexities related to building and managing diverse portfolios of real estate. We also advise regarding ways to structure, optimize, and leverage real estate holdings, national development programs, and cross-border investments.

  • CBRE Global Investors in its acquisition of Galleria Towers, an iconic 1.4 million square foot, three-building Class A office complex in Dallas, Texas 

  • General Electric Credit Equities, Inc., the seller, in the $53.25 million simultaneous disposition of two commercial office buildings totaling approximately 442,000 square feet

  • Related Fund Management, LLC in the cash sale of a multifamily residential apartment property located in Longview, Texas, for $7.34 million

  • Commonwealth Partners LLC, a private equity fund, in the $305 million acquisition of the office building known as 1888 Century Park East, a 20-story, 500,000-square-foot office tower located in the Century City submarket of Los Angeles, California

  • 7-Eleven in the relocation of its corporate headquarters from One Arts Plaza in the Dallas Arts District to the new Cypress Waters Development in Irving, Texas, which involved drafting and negotiating a 325,000-square-foot single tenant build-to-suit lease, negotiating of documents relating to economic incentives from the City of Irving, and drafting and negotiating of other lease-related documents relating to both the One Arts Plaza lease and the Cypress Waters lease

  • Spear Street Capital, LLC in its $135 million acquisition of a four-building office complex totaling approximately 800,000 square feet in Richardson, Texas, commonly known as Galatyn Park

  • An international accounting firm in the acquisition of real property for and development of a $300 million state-of-the-art learning and leadership development center

  • A publicly traded investment fund in the sale by a portfolio company of substantially all commercial real estate assets, including more than 1,900 acres of development land, a 440,000-square-foot industrial building, a 2,500-space parking garage, an office/retail building and office condominium, two 18-hole golf courses, and water rights
