D CEO magazine included Vinson & Elkins Partner Russell Oshman, the managing partner of the firm’s Dallas office, in its 2024 Dallas 500 directory of the city’s most influential business leaders.
A member of Vinson & Elkins’ Real Estate Practice, Russell represents investors and developers in the acquisition, development, financing and disposition of commercial real estate assets. He was one of only a handful of real estate lawyers included in the 2024 Dallas 500 directory, which was published in November following extensive research that included hundreds of interviews with Dallas business leaders, D CEO said.
“More than six months in the making, the [Dallas 500] includes some of the most recognizable names in business,” D CEO Managing Editor Ben Swanger said.
Ranked among the top real estate lawyers in Texas in the Chambers USA 2023 directory, Russell advises a wide array of real estate clients, including public and private real estate investment trusts, private equity investors and real estate developers. While his focus lies in representing clients in commercial real estate transactions, he also has experience with the real estate aspects of master limited partnerships, mergers and acquisitions and syndicated financing transactions.
