Haley is a technology transactions and intellectual property lawyer who advises clients on intellectual property, technology, data privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence aspects of mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions. Haley leverages her multidisciplinary background as an engineer and her qualifications as a registered patent attorney and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) to guide clients through complex technology matters. She conducts IP and privacy diligence and drafts and negotiates a wide range of deal documents, commercial agreements, and technology licenses. Haley also counsels clients on the licensing and protection of technology and other intangible assets, including software, data, and proprietary IP. In addition, she advises on privacy compliance, online terms, data-sharing arrangements, open source software, and AI governance and contracting matters.
