Vinson & Elkins advised Spire Midstream LLC in connection with the sale of Belle Butte LLC for a total consideration of approximately $650,000,000 to an affiliate of I Squared Capital. Through its subsidiaries, Belle Butte owns natural gas storage assets in Wyoming and Oklahoma. These assets include Spire Storage West, located in southwestern Wyoming and consisting of two storage fields certificated to provide up to 55 Bcf of working gas capacity to customers primarily in the western United States, and Spire Storage Salt Plains, located in north central Oklahoma and providing up to 17 Bcf of working gas capacity to serve markets in the midcontinent and midwestern United States.
