Vinson & Elkins advised Stonepeak, a leading alternative investment firm focused on infrastructure and real assets, in its acquisition from Repsol of a 43.8% interest in the Outpost solar project (629 MW) located in Webb County, Texas.
The transaction implies a valuation for the Outpost project of approximately $775 million. The deal marks Stonepeak’s second partnership with Repsol in the U.S. renewables sectors this year.
The Vinson & Elkins team was led by partner Matt Falcone and senior associate Jordan Fossee, with assistance from associates Mimi Nguyen, Brian Park, and Will Sladic.
