Steven is an associate in the London office and a member of the Energy Transactions and Projects practice group. He has experience in global energy M&A and project development transactions related to upstream oil and gas, petrochemical facilities, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and power. Experience Highlights
A multinational oil and gas company in respect of its proposed equity investment in a greenfield LNG liquefaction project and related long-term LNG offtake arrangements
A Turkish subsidiary of a national oil company in relation to the development of a circa 300MW cogeneration steam and power plant in Turkey
A US-headquartered geophysical equipment supplier on the successfully completed sale of its seismic equipment business in Russia
SOCAR GPC on its proposed multibillion dollar development and financing of a gas processing plant and petrochemicals facility in Azerbaijan
SOCAR Polymer on the approximately $800 million development and financing of facilities for the production of polypropylene and high-density polyethylene in the Republic of Azerbaijan
An international oilfield services company on a proposed c.$800 million alternative financing of a greenfield development offshore Nigeria
The Goldman Sachs Group on its approximately $300 million equity investment in McDermott International, a multinational provider of EPCI solutions to the oil and gas industry
A supermajor on its divestment of various UKCS North Sea assets, including transfer of operatorship
A multinational oil and gas company on the proposed c.$2 billion acquisition of a minority share in a company holding producing assets in Western Siberia, Russian Federation
An independent E&P company on its proposed acquisition of producing assets in Egypt and Iraq
A supermajor on the proposed divestment of its interest in a transnational crude oil pipeline
Seconded to the London headquarters of a multinational oil and gas company and assisted in day-to-day legal support for the UKCS
