Ciara Ros is a senior associate in the International Dispute Resolution practice group. She was recognized as a Key Lawyer for International Arbitration by the Legal 500 in 2022 and was included in the INvolve – The Inclusion People list of Top 100 Women Future Leaders Role Model 2022. She spent six months in the V&E Houston office and worked in the Dubai office for three years after qualification. Ciara returned to the London office in 2018. She represents clients across a wide range of industries, including energy, construction, infrastructure, mining, wreck salvage, banking and financial services, and telecoms. Her focus is on energy and infrastructure, mining, construction disputes, and international commercial arbitration. Ciara also advised clients on project finance, and mergers and acquisitions within the energy, aviation, infrastructure and telecoms sectors during her tenure as an associate in the Dubai office, giving her a unique cross-practice view with significant transactional and disputes experience. She is admitted to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales. Ciara is the current Young ITA Vice Chair and sits on the board of the International Centre of Dispute Resolution (Y&I).

Acting on a number of ICC arbitrations and referrals to a Dispute Adjudication Board in connection with the design and construction of a major maritime project in Central America
Advising a Middle Eastern state-owned entity regarding commercial resolution of disputes and project restart strategies for a project involving the reconstruction of two oil terminals
Representing a Middle Eastern state-owned entity in the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts against a private company involving applications and cross-applications for enforcement and set-aside of an arbitral award
Represented an international structural façade consultant in ongoing payment and variation disputes in connection with the design and construction of a façade for a research facility in Saudi Arabia
Acted for Ukrainian oilfield services company in a dispute with Turkish shipyard over the construction of a new vessel. LCIA arbitration
The Republic of Iraq Ministry of Oil on a multibillion dollar development of the 1,000-kilometer Iraq-Jordan Export Pipeline Project, which will be developed on a BOOT basis. Our advice includes leading the negotiation of the Intergovernmental agreement, the BOOT contract, crude and gas offtake agreements, and project finance bankability considerations
