Allan is a senior associate in the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation group and represents clients in government investigations, international arbitration proceedings, and state and federal court. He has served clients in industries including banking, energy, and private equity. Allan litigates in a diverse array of subject areas, including contract disputes, shareholder activism, consumer protection enforcement, and M&A litigation.

Representing a major financial institution in ongoing arbitration proceedings seeking more than $400 million in damages against a contractual counterparty
Represented an investment firm in expedited multi-court litigation over the control of two publicly traded REITs; prevailed against a motion for preliminary injunction and successfully resolved all claims
Defending a public company in an investigation and lawsuit by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for alleged violations of the Remittance Rule and Consumer Financial Protection Act
Representing a public company in an investigation by the New York Attorney General’s Office under a consumer protection statute
Representing an investment firm in multi-court litigation over merger transaction, including allegations of tortious interference
