Alison’s principal area of practice is complex commercial litigation, with a focus on government contracts, export controls, and economic sanctions. She represents government contractor clients in litigation involving bid protests and contract claims before the Court of Federal Claims (COFC), the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA), and the Government Accountability Office (GAO). She also counsels clients in various industries on export controls, economic sanctions, federal procurement processes, and related issues. Alison previously worked as a proposal coordinator and federal contractor in the Washington, DC area, where she drafted proposals in response to solicitations issued by civilian and defense agencies and advised government clients on IT systems, internal controls compliance, and federal financial policy.
