Christopher has a broad-based corporate practice focused on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. He has extensive experience in a wide array of corporate and securities transactions, including public and private mergers; asset and stock dispositions; public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities; venture capital financings; project financings; consolidation transactions; and the structuring and formation of partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.

  • Targa Resources Corp. in its $6.7 billion acquisition of Targa Resources Partners in an all stock-for-unit transaction

  • Targa Resources Partners and Targa Resources Corp. in the $7.7 billion acquisition of Atlas Pipeline Partners and Atlas Energy

  • Nuevo Midstream in the $1.5 billion sale of the company to Western Gas Partners

  • BP in the $2.4 billion sale of its Texas City refinery and a portion of its retail and logistics network in the Southeast United States to Marathon Petroleum

  • Targa Resources Corp. in its $360 million initial public offering of common stock 

  • Crestwood Midstream Partners in its $750 million acquisition of Arrow Midstream Holdings, a privately-held midstream company in the Bakken shale play

  • Targa Resources Partners in the $950 million acquisition of Saddle Butte Pipeline’s Williston Basin crude oil pipeline and terminal system and natural gas gathering and processing operations
