Opportunities for High School and First- and Second-Year Law Students

Vinson & Elkins’ leadership has long held a vision for increasing diversity in the legal profession. To aid in fueling the diversity pipeline, V&E is actively involved in a variety of external programs and offers V&E-sponsored financial support for students, from high school seniors to second-year law students in the U.S.

The V&E Scholars Program awards seven scholarships each year to high school students in Houston, Dallas and Austin who demonstrate strong academic credentials, an interest in the legal profession, and financial need.
