Vinson & Elkins advised SCF Partners, an investment manager headquartered in Houston, Texas, on the successful formation and final close of SCF-XI, L.P. at its fundraising hard cap of $800 million of total capital commitments. The fund will continue SCF’s strategy of making investments in the energy and infrastructure service and equipment industry and in energy industry technology.
The Vinson & Elkins team was led by Partner Matt Hortenstine and Senior Associate Alice Zhang, with assistance from Partner Robert Seber, and Associates Layla Wehbe and Matt Maron, Partner Megan James and Associate Kathryn Mays, Partners Reed Schuster and Shane Tucker and Associate Randy Thomas.
