Vinson & Elkins advised Group 1 Automotive, Inc., a Fortune 250 automotive retailer, in connection with its private placement of $1.25 billion in aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes, consisting of $625 million of its 6.250% senior unsecured notes due 2032 and $625 million of its 6.625% senior unsecured notes due 2035. The offering priced on September 8, 2026, and closed on September 22, 2026.
The Vinson & Elkins corporate team was led by Partners Scott Rubinsky and David Stone and Senior Associate Layton Suchma, with assistance from Associates Nick Priebe, Graham Buck, and Domonique Richardson.
