Vinson & Elkins represented Albioma US Holdings LLC (“Albioma”), a portfolio company of KKR Infrastructure, in its acquisition of a 43% economic interest in Altamaha Green Energy, LLC, which is developing a 70-megawatt woody biomass power generation facility in Jesup, Georgia. Albioma is a French independent power producer specializing in converting agricultural byproducts, including biomass, into renewable power.
The Vinson & Elkins team was led by Partner Austin White and Associates Tessa Krieger-Carlisle and Katie Holmes. Also advising on the transaction were Partners Jason McIntosh and Lauren Collins and Associate Lily Duggan; Partner Randall Johnston and Associate Claire Connor; and Partner East Berhane and Associate Tyler Wagner.
