Vinson & Elkins Expands London Transactions Practice With Leading Global Energy & Infrastructure M&A Partner Michael Burns

Vinson & Elkins today announced that Michael Burns has joined the firm’s London office as Head of Energy and Infrastructure M&A – EMEA, further strengthening the firm’s growing London Transactions practice.

Burns has advised a broad range of clients, including private capital investors, corporates, platform companies and developers on M&A, joint ventures, capital raises, divestitures, and major project development. His experience spans the full spectrum of energy and infrastructure, including midstream and upstream oil and gas, renewables, biogas, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, and battery storage, as well as digital infrastructure, transportation infrastructure, and other large-scale infrastructure assets.
