Vinson & Elkins advised HF Sinclair Corporation in connection with its entry into a joint venture agreement with Phillips 66 and Kinder Morgan and final investment decision to move forward with the Western Gateway Pipeline system, a proposed 1,300-mile refined products pipeline designed to create a new fuel supply path from St. Louis and expanded Gulf Coast origin points to Arizona and California. The parties are targeting completion in 2029, subject to permits and regulatory approvals.
The Vinson & Elkins team was led by Crosby Scofield with assistance from Katherine Frank, Megan Menniti, Luke Strieber, and Leah Powers.
