Vinson & Elkins advised NovoHydrogen Holdings LLC (“NovoHydrogen”) in connection with a $20 million equity commitment from Modern Energy, a diversified clean energy company that invests in, builds and operates energy transition businesses to drive progress toward a zero-carbon economy.
This capital will enable NovoHydrogen to continue strengthening its team and bring its development portfolio of green hydrogen projects to final investment decision and into construction.
The Vinson & Elkins team was led by partner Michael Gibson, with assistance from associates Alan Albrecht and Hannah Thai. Other key team members were counsel Allyson Seger and associates Ryan Dolmanet and Lauren Nieman; partner Sean Becker and associate Ashley Plunk; partner Shane Tucker and associate Maddison Riddick; and partner Michael Kurzer and associate Haley Titcomb.
