Vinson & Elkins advised NGP Energy Capital Management, LLC (“NGP”) in an equity investment in Mora Energy Holdings, LLC (“Mora”).
The newly formed company also has equity commitments from Old Ironsides Energy, LLC (“OIE”) and the Mora management team, which is comprised of former members of the management team of LM Energy. Mora will focus on the acquisition and development of midstream energy infrastructure opportunities in North America.
The Vinson & Elkins team was led by partner Matt Strock and senior associate David Lassetter, with assistance from associates Michelle Yang and Caroline Oakley. Other key team members included partners David Peck and Brian Russell and associate Kathryn Fish; partner Joo Hyun Lee and associate Madeline O’Neill; partner Sean Becker and senior associate Peter Goetschel; and associate Lauren Perillo.
