Vinson & Elkins is proud to announce that Kim Dalrymple, a senior associate in the firm’s Aviation Finance practice, has been named a 2025 Rising Star by Airfinance Global. This recognition honors the most promising legal professionals in the North America and Asia-Pacific regions for their exceptional contributions to the aviation finance industry.
Over the past year, Dalrymple has led and supported major aviation finance transactions, including over $500 million in aircraft acquisitions for Castlelake Aviation, strategic sales to Japanese investors, and multi-aircraft sales for Aercap, Airfinance Global reported in a profile of Dalrymple.
Beyond her transactional practice, Dalrymple plays an active role in mentoring and developing junior attorneys at the firm and is a lecturer for the Law Society of Ireland’s aviation finance programs.
“Kim is an incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated legal professional in the aviation finance sector, consistently going above and beyond to deliver high-quality work and meet clients’ (often challenging!) demands,” Ben Godsell, Managing Counsel at Castlelake Aviation, told Airfinance Global.
