Vinson & Elkins advised Chiron Real Estate, Inc. (“Chiron”), an internally managed health care REIT, on tax matters in connection with its $249 million acquisition of two seniors housing communities in Alexandria, Virginia, The Landing Alexandria, and The Riviera at Alexandria. Vinson & Elkins advised Chiron on the establishment of REIT compliant ownership and operational structures for each property.
The Vinson & Elkins team was led by Partners Paige Anderson and Daniel LeBey. Also advising were Partner Brian Russell, Senior Associate Maddie Brown, Associate James Sutherland, Senior Associate Bekah Briggs, and Senior Staff Attorney Ashton Harris.
