Vinson & Elkins advised Sunoco LP (“Sunoco”) in its entry into a definitive agreement with NuStar Energy L.P. (“NuStar”) whereby Sunoco will acquire NuStar in an all-equity transaction valued at approximately $7.3 billion, including assumed debt.
The Vinson & Elkins team was led by corporate partners Lande Spottswood, Jackson O’Maley and Ramey Layne and associate Walt Baker, finance partner James Longhofer and associates Arthur Munoz and Joe Kmak, and tax partners Ryan Carney and Paige Anderson and associate Tyler Underwood.
