Companies are increasingly exploring whether Texas could serve as an alternative to traditional incorporation hubs as the state rolls out business-friendly legislation and courts designed to attract corporate charters.
Katherine Frank noted that while the move could prompt more companies to consider Texas, it does not signal the end of Delaware’s dominance as the leading state for corporate incorporation. “I don’t think Delaware’s reign is over,” she said. “I think some competition has been introduced.”
