Vinson & Elkins Tax Partner Jenny Speck has been recognized in Bloomberg Law’s They’ve Got Next: The 40 Under 40, an annual program honoring the nation’s most promising lawyers who are helping shape the future of the legal profession.
Speck advises clients on the qualification for and monetization of clean energy tax incentives. Her work sits at the center of some of the most consequential developments in renewable energy, and she is a trusted advisor to companies navigating some of the industry’s most innovative and complex transactions.
She represented Energy Vault in financings supporting the world’s largest utility-scale ultra-long-duration energy storage project and led one of the first successful monetizations of the Section 45Z clean fuel production credit by a public company. She also advised on a landmark carbon removal agreement involving Microsoft, helping advance emerging markets expected to play a significant role in a lower-carbon future.
