Stephanie’s practice focuses on large-scale and high-value disputes arising out of construction contracts both in the UK and internationally. She has experience in all areas of dispute resolution including litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation, and has acted for a variety of construction professionals both in a claimant and defendant capacity including engineers, architects, contractors, surveyors, developers, insurers and government bodies.

  • Acting on a number of ICC arbitrations in connection with the design and construction of a major maritime project in Central America

  • Acting for an international claimant contractor at an ICC arbitration on a dispute in excess of $150 million in respect of a highways project in East Africa

  • Acting for an international engineering and design firm on a multi-million pound dispute relating to the design and construction of an airport in the Middle East

  • Acting for a Swiss-based global leader in energy-from-waste in court proceedings in the Technology and Construction Court arising out of the construction of an energy-from-waste facility in England 

  • Providing commercial advice and representing a German EPC Contractor in relation to multiple adjudications arising from the construction of an energy-from-waste facility in England

  • Advising a large UK contractor in relation to its claims against two subcontractors for delay on a residential property development in London

  • Acting for a consultant engineer in defending a complex multi-party claim in the Technology and Construction Court relating to the design and construction of a warehouse facility in Yorkshire

  • Acting for a consultant engineer on a multi-party dispute against a principal contractor on a residential housing development project in North London

  • Advising an international infrastructure and engineering consultancy in relation to a public enquiry into health and safety of a PFI project

  • Acting for a consultant engineer on a  dispute against a UK ferry company and a principal contractor relating to the design and construction of a UK port
