Leslie Womble serves as Chief Talent Officer of the firm, overseeing all aspects of talent and human resources functions, including recruitment, professional learning and development, and benefits. Based in Dallas, she advises firm leadership on human capital strategy and supports lawyers and business professionals across the full employee life cycle.
With nearly two decades of professional services experience, Leslie is highly skilled at designing and leading people-focused initiatives, with particular depth in talent development, compensation, performance management, and organizational design. She has built global talent development functions from the ground up, created firmwide learning ecosystems and award-winning management programs, and led enterprise-wide initiatives spanning leadership development, DEI, and succession planning.
Prior to joining Vinson & Elkins, Leslie was a partner and Chief Human Capital Officer at Cambridge Associates, a global investment management firm. Her career there began in investment research before transitioning into human capital, where she held progressively senior roles over more than a decade.
