Ed Moberly is a tax partner in the London office focusing on complex, high-value cross-border transactional tax matters, with a particular emphasis on private equity and infrastructure investments. He advises a range of leading global private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, financings and continuation fund transactions across Europe. He also advises sponsors on internal tax matters, including structuring, governance and related legal and regulatory developments.
Ed has extensive experience structuring and executing transactions in multi-jurisdictional environments, often involving significant complexity and scale. His practice spans a range of sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare and technology, and he is known for providing commercially focused, pragmatic advice on complex tax issues. He previously spent time on secondment at KKR, providing him with first-hand insight into sponsor-side decision-making and transaction execution.
