Stephen is a counsel in the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation group. He has extensive experience advising clients on a variety of civil litigation and focuses his practice on federal antitrust and trademark matters. Stephen represents clients across a range of industries, including domestic and multinational corporations in the food and beverage, insurance, energy, and financial industries.

Experience

  • Defended insurance industry clients in class action antitrust litigation against Sherman Act market allocation, price fixing, and revenue restrictions claims

  • Represented food and beverage industry plaintiff in Lanham Act trademark infringement and unfair competition actions relating to the sale of parallel imports in the United States

  • Represented large energy sector employer in multimillion-dollar ERISA fiduciary liability litigation

  • Defended multinational financial institution in multiple civil actions and consolidated appeal arising under the Helms-Burton Act
