Nick’s practice focuses on joint ventures, borrower-side financings, ground leases, acquisitions, dispositions, and other facets of the investment, development, and operation of office, industrial, apartment, retail, and mixed-use properties. He has experience with data centers, credit tenant leases, build-to-suit developments, co-GP joint ventures, and master development agreements. He represents institutional investors and developers.
Prior to joining Vinson & Elkins as a partner, Nick spent a decade working as in-house counsel at Goldman Sachs and Trammell Crow Company.
Prior to attending law school, Nick earned an MBA and began his career in real estate development. He worked on the development of a New Urbanist, master-planned community, and several urban redevelopments.
