Virginia is an associate in the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation group. Her principal areas of practice are complex commercial litigation, shareholder litigation, and appellate litigation. Virginia has experience across a wide range of business disputes, including breach of contract claims, fraud claims, trade-secret misappropriation claims, and various statutory claims. Virginia also has significant drafting experience in both federal and state district courts and courts of appeals.

(Del. Super. Ct.) – Defended beverage company against tortious interference claim relating to an acquisition, which was settled shortly before trial
(S.D. Tex.) Obtained favorable settlement on behalf of technology company in federal securities class action lawsuit
(Del. Ch.) — Obtained dismissal of breach-of-duty claims challenging a Master Limited Partnership’s merger with an affiliate
(Del. Ch.) Defending energy company officers and directors in breach of fiduciary duty lawsuit related to merger
(E.D. Pa.) – Defending energy company and its executives in unitholder class action alleging violations of federal securities laws and derivative litigation
(Del. Ch.) – Successfully opposed stockholder’s application for temporary restraining order that sought to extend aircraft leasing company’s director nomination window
