Carson focuses his practice on private equity fund formation and operation, including structuring, negotiation, carry and equity arrangements, governance, and regulatory matters. His experience covers a range of asset classes, including energy, real estate, buyout, and growth equity. Carson also advises private equity funds and their sponsors on business and transactional matters, including co-investments.
EnCap Investments in multiple fund formation matters, including the formation of EnCap Energy Transition Funds I and II with aggregate capital commitments of approximately $2.7 billion and EnCap Energy Capital Fund XII with aggregate capital commitments of approximately $5.2 billion
