Vinson & Elkins Represents Stonepeak in Acquisition of Texas Solar Project

Vinson & Elkins advised Stonepeak, a leading alternative investment firm focused on infrastructure and real assets, in its acquisition from Repsol of a 43.8% interest in the Outpost solar project (629 MW) located in Webb County, Texas.
The transaction implies a valuation for the Outpost project of approximately $775 million. The deal marks Stonepeak’s second partnership with Repsol in the U.S. renewables sectors this year.
