Vinson & Elkins Strengthens London Transactions Practice with Addition of Counsel Louise Fischel-Bock

Fischel-Bock began her legal career at Vinson & Elkins, where she trained and practiced as an associate. She advises clients on the development, financing, and structuring of complex energy and infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on transactions supporting the energy transition. Her experience spans all aspects of energy transition projects, including renewable energy, sustainable aviation fuel, low-carbon hydrogen, clean ammonia, carbon capture, and other emerging technologies, as well as conventional power and oil and gas.

Fischel-Bock returns to the firm after serving as counsel in the London office of Akin Gump. Her arrival follows the recent additions of partners Chris Taufatofua and Kilian de Cintré, further strengthening the firm’s expanded corporate and finance capabilities in London.

Fischel-Bock holds an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, an LPC and GDL from the University of Law, London, and a B.A. from Boston College.
