Joining the V&E Family
At Vinson & Elkins, we hire the best and the brightest to provide exceptional counsel to our sophisticated client base. Our thriving work environment is home to approximately 700 lawyers across the globe.
As a V&E summer associate and associate, you will find a dynamic, team environment where doors are open, and where diverse lawyers collaborate to provide our clients solutions on their most complex matters. You’ll get ongoing training and development opportunities with hands-on experience early in your career. At each level, you will gain experience on significant matters, working with lawyers who are leaders in their areas of law.
Our long-term success depends on developing and retaining top legal talent from all backgrounds and perspectives. We also encourage our lawyers to give back through pro bono work, and other civic and community opportunities.
Our reputation as a top-tier global law firm begins with developing talented lawyers who are leaders in their fields of law. Our shared passion to be the best at what we do brings us together at Vinson & Elkins.
As a V&E Summer Associate, you will have real opportunities to do substantive work in a variety of practice areas, have direct client contact, and work side-by-side with accomplished attorneys who care about your success. We offer a competitive salary of $3,654 per week. A variety of social and community activities will also give you the chance to get to know your colleagues in a relaxed environment, and you will find out that having fun is part of our culture.
We hope you will consider this unique opportunity to explore your career options at a firm that values inclusiveness and diverse perspectives – where lawyers and staff respect and support one another.
