Experience Highlights

  • Renewable and Sustainable Energy Fund of The Carlyle Group in the formation of a joint venture with Alchemy Renewable Energy, LLC (ARE), a renewable energy developer and tax equity arranger, together with the acquisition of certain operating and development-stage solar projects from ARE

  • Plains All American Pipeline in a transaction whereby Black Diamond Gathering, a joint venture between Noble Midstream Partners and Greenfield Midstream, acquired a 20% interest in the Saddlehorn Pipeline for $155 million

  • Plains All American Pipeline in the formation of Red Oak Pipeline, a 50/50 joint venture with Phillips 66 to develop and operate the approximately $2.5 billion Red Oak Pipeline system 

  • Sequitur Permian in the $245 million acquisition of certain Midland Basin oil and gas assets from Callon Petroleum Company

  • A Major U.S. Bank as lead arranger and administrative agent in a $500 million reserve-based revolving credit facility with a publicly traded exploration and production company in connection with the company’s acquisition of certain oil and gas assets in the Eagle Ford Basin

  • A Major U.S. Bank as lead arranger and administrative agent in a $1.425 billion reserve-based revolving credit facility with an exploration and production portfolio company of a large private equity sponsor in connection with the company’s acquisition of certain natural gas assets in the Fayetteville Shale Formation

  • The credit fund of a first-tier private equity sponsor focused in the energy space in a $130 million debt investment in a frac sand distribution company for the purpose of developing frac sand terminals across Texas and New Mexico
