It’s vital to understand people from all walks of life—including judges, experts, CEOs and the wide variety of people who serve on juries. A trial lawyer needs to establish rapport and trust with his or her audience. I think that’s why clients hire me, because I’ve had success communicating with people from all backgrounds.
Walter B. Stuart

Walter Stuart is one of the most active and successful trial lawyers in complex litigation and arbitration in the United States and internationally. In a career spanning more than 40 years, he has built a strong reputation for integrity among clients and his fellow attorneys alike.

Walter spent his early years of practice primarily focused on corporate and banking matters but soon found his clients asking him to represent them in contested matters as well. That has evolved into a full time complex litigation practice, with success in jury trials, bench trials and arbitrations.

Walter has represented clients in a wide variety of industries, including finance, energy, technology, insurance and telecommunications on matters involving securities, antitrust, bankruptcy, contract, accounting, insolvency and intellectual property.

He is licensed and maintains offices in Houston and New York. He is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and has taught trial advocacy and other courses at Tulane Law School as an adjunct faculty member. Walter has lectured on litigation topics nationally and around the world.
