The most interesting part for me is learning about how both my lender and borrower clients make money. Learning about their businesses, how they achieve success, and how they plan to continue that success. That understanding allows me to offer better counsel on a given transaction.

I’m consistently motivated by the complexity and problem-solving that is necessary to structure and execute the complex financing transactions that our clients trust us with. Particularly in the energy, power and infrastructure space, I get the privilege of working with clients who are financing new technologies, shifting products and first-of-their-kind deals – working collaboratively and creatively to balance the objectives of the parties to get deals executed is the best part of the job.

What I enjoy most about my practice is the opportunity to help clients that are on the leading edge of the most sophisticated financing transactions in the market. I work closely with these clients to navigate novel issues and provide innovative solutions that lead to successful deal closings.

I have a broad base of experience in the finance area — there's very little I haven't seen and done. I draw on that experience when structuring deals for my clients to think through complicated problems and anticipate variables and outcomes.
