Ruairi is an associate in the London Energy Transactions & Projects practice. He has advisory and transactional experience in project development and finance, cross border M&A, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts and general corporate work, primarily in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He previously worked for an upstream onshore drilling contractor with operations across the Middle East.

Advise a project developer on the application of U.S. coastwise laws to proposed construction and installation activities for a U.S. offshore wind project
SOCAR and its subsidiary SOCAR Turkey in connection with a $1.3 billion equivalent syndicated loan facility to refinance existing financial liabilities. At the time of signing the transaction represented the largest syndicated loan arrangement completed in 2021 by a non-financial company in Turkey
Funds managed by Apollo in the $2 billion sale by New Fortress Energy Inc. of 11 LNG infrastructure vessels to a newly formed venture owned approximately 80% by Apollo funds and 20% by NFE
