Michael Marek

Mike focuses his practice on corporate and securities transactions, as well as general corporate matters. He works with private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, and a variety of other public and private companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and other strategic transactions. Mike has also assisted issuers and underwriters in public and private offerings of equity and debt securities.

  • White Deer Energy and AXIOS Industrial Group, a portfolio company of White Deer Energy, in the merger between AXIOS and A&L Industrial Services, a portfolio company of Hastings Equity Partners

  • Management of Ascentium Capital, a portfolio company of Warburg Pincus and the largest independent equipment finance lender in the United States, in its sale to Regions Bank

  • Gravity Oilfield Services, a Clearlake Capital portfolio company, in its acquisition of On Point Oilfield Holdings, a White Deer Energy portfolio company, creating the largest commercial produced water disposal company by injection volumes in the Midland Basin

  • Flywheel Bakken, formerly Valorem Energy, in its sale of non-operated assets to Northern Oil and Gas
