Kyle is an associate in the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation group, and represents clients in international and domestic arbitrations and in state and federal court. He has served clients in industries including banking, energy, private equity, and technology. A versatile litigator, Kyle has worked on a range of matters in a variety of subject areas, such as contract disputes, construction disputes, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, shareholder litigation, and M&A litigation. Kyle often works on matters involving arbitration and has assisted with every stage of the arbitration process, from initiation to confirming and defending awards.
Before joining the firm, Kyle served as a term law clerk on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

(London Ct. of Int’l Arb.) Representing client in an international arbitration dispute regarding unpaid natural gas transactions during Winter Storm Uri
(Del. Ch.) Represented sellers in a dispute regarding Unit Purchase Agreement for sale of a technology company
(AAA) Represented a major energy company in an arbitration against a contractor conducted under AAA rules concerning the construction of a micro-fuel facility as part of a US$ 1.5 billion energy infrastructure project in the Caribbean
(AAA) Representing lender in an arbitration to collect on defaulted loans; arbitrated the matter to a final hearing on the merits
(Del. Ch.; Del. Supr. Ct.) Obtained confirmation of arbitration award over adversary’s objections; obtained stay of related litigation pending payment of award; and assisted in successfully defending these rulings on appeal
(Bankr. S.D. Tex.) Assisted in obtaining favorable outcome at trial in adversary bankruptcy proceeding regarding Uniform Commercial Code claims
(Tex. Dist. – Travis Cnty.) Drafted successful summary judgment motions for The Marshall Project as intervenor-relator in two related Texas Public Information Act suits, securing the release of internal emails circulated by communications personnel at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office
(3d Cir.) Assisted in successful defense of District Court’s ruling that an investment bank was not required to pay legal fees to a former employee convicted of criminal malfeasance in connection with his employment
