Ka-Mun has experience in international mergers and acquisitions in a range of sectors, including telecoms and energy, and also handles general corporate and commercial matters. She also has experience in capital markets and private equity transactions. She spent six months on secondment to Vinson & Elkins’ Houston office.

Experience Highlights
KKR in connection with the investment, alongside OTPP, in Caruna Oy, Finland’s largest electricity distribution company. The transaction, which represented the second deal undertaken under KKR’s core infrastructure strategy, involved the acquisition of First Sentier Investors’ 40% stake in Caruna Oy as well as the separate acquisition of OMERS’ 40% stake
Helios Towers plc in relation to the acquisition of Airtel’s passive infrastructure operating companies in Madagascar and Malawi and the potential acquisition of Airtel’s passive infrastructure assets in Chad and Gabon, together with related long term service contracts
Equinor (formerly Statoil) in its successfully completed $2.9 billion acquisition from Petrobras of a 25 per cent interest in the Roncador field, located in the Campos Basin in Brazil. The purchase price consists of an initial payment of $2.35 billion, plus additional contingent payments of up to $550 million
Vitol Group and Helios Investment Partners in relation to their $250 million buy-out of Shell’s 20% stake in Vivo Energy, the company behind the Shell brand in Africa, plus at the same time acting for Vivo Energy in relation to the long-term extension of its brand license agreements relating to its use of the Shell brand in Africa
An international private equity fund on its acquisition of a leading global producer of automatic snack and beverage vending machines
A major telecoms company in relation its potential sale and leaseback of portfolios of telecoms towers in South Asia
HTA Group Ltd on its $600m issuance of senior notes
Albright Capital Management LLC (as part of a consortium) in connection with the successful recommended offer to acquire and take-private APR Energy plc, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange and a provider of turnkey temporary power generation services
Huntsman Corporation in its $522 million initial public offering of Venator Materials plc, a global chemical company incorporated in the UK
