Jason Blackmer

Jason’s practice focuses on commercial lending and finance transactions, including reserve-based, asset-based, and acquisition financings. He has worked on numerous bank financings, mezzanine and structured financings, preferred equity investments, and convertible debt. Jason represents mezzanine funds, publicly and privately held corporate borrowers and issuers, private equity funds, and commercial banks in domestic and international lending and financing transactions.

  • Anadarko Petroleum Corporation in a $5 billion unsecured 364-day revolving credit facility and five-year revolving credit facility

  • Carriage Services in an amendment to a $150 million credit facility which provided for a reduction in the revolving credit commitments and an increase and new funding of the term loan commitments to $150 million 

  • Cardtronics, Inc. in a $375 million secured revolving credit facility 

  • Endeavour International Corporation in a $125 million secured term loan, a $130 million term loan, and a letter of credit procurement facility

  • Elevation Resources Holdings LLC in $500 million secured revolving credit facility

  • Globe Energy Services in a $370 million restated credit facility to acquire Musslewhite Holdings’ subsidiaries

  • JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. in a credit facility consisting of a $1.1 billion revolving commitment, a €50.0 million revolving commitment, and a $305 million term loan facility comprised of tranche A and tranche B term loans for global suppliers of products and services in the oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical, process, power generation, and military industries

  • Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. in a $675 million secured asset-based revolving credit facility to an oil and gas exploration company

  • Wells Fargo Bank, N.A, in a $400 million senior secured credit facility to an oil and gas storage and transportation company with properties in 22 states

  • An investment firm in a $20.5 million secured term loan to an oil and gas company with overriding royalty interests in the oil and gas properties of the borrower located in Colorado and Wyoming 

  • The Carlyle Group in a $22 million secured term loan with warrants to fund development of its oil and gas properties in Texas and Oklahoma
