Georgina is a Senior Associate in the London office, and a member of the firm’s International Dispute Resolution & Arbitration practice group and International Construction group. Georgina has broad experience in international arbitration, under a range of arbitral seats, governing laws and rules of arbitration. Georgina’s practice covers a variety of sectors, including energy, construction and infrastructure. Georgina has also been involved in claims in the High Court, TCC and DIFC Court. She is admitted to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales. The following is a list of representative matters in which Georgina has assisted.

Represented claimants in an ICC arbitration (London seat) in connection with claims under an SPA for a South American energy company
Representing a state and state-owned company in an ICC arbitration (Paris seat) in connection with a dispute under a Production Sharing Agreement
Representing a claimant in an LCIA dispute concerning the sale and purchase of iron ore
Representing a bank in an LCIA arbitration (in accordance with the UNCITRAL rules) regarding claims under a loan agreement relating to mining assets
Representing a Central American public authority in an ICC arbitration (Miami seat) over a dispute arising from a contract
Represented a private equity fund in connection with ICC arbitration proceedings to require specific performance of shareholders’ arrangements ultimately concerning a hydrocarbons block in the Middle East (London Seat)
Acted for the claimants in a series of three connected DIAC arbitrations concerning the breach of confidentiality, non-solicitation and non-compete obligations (Dubai Seat)
Acted for Ukrainian oilfield services company in a dispute with Turkish shipyard over the construction of a new vessel. LCIA arbitration
Represented a defendant in a series of adjudications concerning a U.K. construction project.
Representing a major Turkish conglomerate in ICC arbitration proceedings arising out of the disputed termination of one of the EPC contracts relating to the Marmaray Project in Istanbul (FIDIC Silver Book based)
Represented an oilfield services company against a rig management subcontractor in ICC arbitration proceedings
Represented a private equity fund in the prosecution of claims for the breach of a non-disclosure agreement before the DIFC court
Representing investors in expropriation and unfair treatment claim against the Republic of Costa Rica under the Dominican Republic – Central America Free Trade Agreement (“DR-CAFTA”)
Acted on behalf of procurement arm of major Indian energy supplier in a power generating equipment design and supply dispute
Representing an international EPC contractor and specialist waste-to-energy plant provider in major disputes concerning the design of a waste-to-energy plant in the UK
Dispute concerning insurance claims in connection with a hydroelectric power station
Represented a U.S. dairy ingredient manufacturer in an LCIA arbitration with a joint venture partner
Represented a hospital trust in a professional negligence claim against the architect responsible for the hospital’s construction
Represented an architect firm in defending a professional negligence claim made by a construction company
