
Gaurav Goel


Gaurav Goel has been a Registered Patent Agent at leading law firms since 2005. His patent prosecution work has involved various technical subject matter, encompassing electrical, mechanical, and biomedical engineering, with emphasis on optics, telecommunications, computer systems, software, instrumentation, semiconductors, medical devices, and hydrocarbon extraction. Gaurav has prepared and prosecuted several hundred patent applications. Previously, Gaurav also worked as a PCT Search Professional under a contract to the U.S.P.T.O. and has drafted over two hundred international examination and search reports of utility patent applications.
Previously, Gaurav was engaged as a senior instrumentation consultant at Intel Corporation and managed automation projects for Dell and Applied Materials. In 1991, he founded and operated N.V.E., an engineering services company in Switzerland, as an Alliance Partner of National Instruments that provided professional system integration services to leading European industrial clients, such as ABB, Siemens, Sulzer, and Novartis, for market sectors including sensors, electronics, biomedics, transportation, plastics energy, and pharmaceuticals.
Gaurav is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He holds an M.S. in Materials Science, with an emphasis on solid-state physics, analytical chemistry, and low-temperature superconductivity.
