Francis Yang

Francis is an Associate at the Vinson & Elkins San Francisco office.  He is in the Complex Commercial Litigation group, and primarily focuses his practice on Government Investigations and White Collar Criminal Defense work.

Before joining Vinson & Elkins, Francis clerked for United States District Judge Alia Moses in the Western District of Texas.  He graduated from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, magna cum laude, in 2016, where he served as Student Bar Association President and as a Lead Article Editor on the UC Irvine Law Review.

Francis is actively involved in Firm initiatives and currently serves on the V&E Diversity Council in SF.  He is also involved in the local community—For example, he currently serves on the Asian Law Caucus Annual Dinner Committee.
