Allison’s principal areas of practice are complex business litigation and government and internal investigations. Her practice focuses on securities litigation, officer and director liability, SEC and DOJ investigations, and counseling clients on issues related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Experience Highlights
Represented large financial institution in litigation centered on alleged breaches of contract and related tort-based claims in connection with its role as trustee of residential mortgage-backed securitizations
Represented Canadian ice manufacturer against claims that it violated FINRA and SEC rules in connection with the payment of dividends under its bankruptcy plan
Assisted with internal investigation for American multinational retailing corporation for potential violations of the FCPA
Represented chief executive officer of international telecommunications company in class-action litigation under federal securities laws based on alleged misrepresentations in public disclosures
Represented chief executive officer of international mining company in connection with SEC investigation into alleged fraud and negligence based on accounting practices
