Vinson & Elkins Advises Aleática in Autopista Rio Magdalena Project, PFI’s 2021 “Transport Deal of the Year”
Recognized as PFI’s “Transport Deal of the Year,” Vinson & Elkins advised sponsor Aleática, an IFM Investors portfolio company, in the issuance of a project bond and bank debt for the financing of the Autopista Río Magdalena 2 highway project, part of the 4G infrastructure program in Colombia.
The PFI Awards honor achievement and ingenuity in the global project finance market. According to PFI, the deal “stood out due to its complex, multi-tranche structure, amount of local funding, and impressive size.”
The V&E team was led by partner Eamon Nolan with assistance from partner Noel Hughes and associates Olivia Espy Huntington, Chris Hesford and Mostafa Al Khonaizi.
