Riata Capital Group Closes GP-Led Secondary Transaction for AEG Vision

Vinson & Elkins advised Acuity Eyecare Holdings, LLC (“AEG Vision” or “AEG”), a portfolio company of Riata Capital Group (“RCG”), a Dallas-based private equity investment firm, in connection with a GP-led secondary transaction (the “Transaction”).

AEG Vision owns and operates over 235 eyecare practices throughout North America. The Transaction allowed RCG to return capital to existing investors while providing AEG with substantial growth capital to execute its long-term strategy.

The V&E corporate team was led by partner Mark Early, with assistance from associates Grace Ann Duquette and Claire Wenholz. Also advising were partner Jim Meyer and associate David Gilbert; and partner Shane Tucker and associate Maddison Riddick.
