Johnson Controls, Apollo Infrastructure Join Forces to Pursue Innovative Sustainability and Energy Efficiency Services for Commercial Buildings
Vinson & Elkins advised funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. in a strategic partnership with Johnson Controls, the global leader for smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, to provide sustainability and energy efficiency services to help customers address decarbonization and operating cost goals for their buildings.
The new venture is intended to provide customers across the United States and Canada with performance-based energy efficiency and smart buildings services at no upfront costs and with predictable monthly fees.
The V&E team was led by Jim Fox, Dan Komarek, Crosby Scofield and Mark Brasher, with assistance from Maram Mahajna and Samuel Garforth-Bles. Other key team members included Jason McIntosh and Jeff Slusher.
